Sometimes my thoughts pile themselves up
like trash in the alley
and I find myself sifting, kicking, sweeping
until finally some filament catches my attention
and pausing with consideration,
I rescue what was discarded
so carelessly before.

Very nice. Both in the writing and in the reminder that treasure hunting takes a little workt and there is very likely treasure in that mess.

Your words are so precise – filaments and things carelessly discarded need the rescue of the considering and considerate mind. Thanks for this thought!
